Effects of activin A and TNF-α on release of TGF-β1 in L929 cells. The levels of TGF-β1 were examined by ELISA in the supernatants of the cultured L929 cells subject to activin A and/or TNF-α at different concentrations for 24 h. Data represent mean ± SD (n = 6). *P < 0.05, **P < 0.01 vs. 0 ng/mL control group; ##P < 0.01 vs. activin A group with the same concentration.
