Higher magnification images evidence SP smooth surface (c) and hollow spd-SNP nanoporous surface (white arrows in d,f). In (e), the representative cross section profile (corresponding to the white trace position) describes a peculiar pit (width 190 nm) morphology, revealing the inner pattern with four lobes (width 20–30 nm, indicated by light blue arrows (g)) surrounding a central stigma (width 60 nm).
