Expression level of genes in several categories rapidly change in response to FeCl3 treatment in RPH. RPH were treated with the indicated concentration of FeCl3 for 2 h. The expression level of genes related to (A,B) ribosomal proteins, (C–E) autophagy/stress-related, (F–H) cell signaling, (I,J) protein phosphatase, (K-M) transcription factors, (N-Q) transporters, and (R-T) transmembrane proteins were examined by RT-qPCR analysis. The expression level of all these genes in the control untreated cells was set at 1.
