Effects of training on resultant motor imagery-based brain activity where the colourbar represents the Z-max value. Activated voxel clusters remaining after subtraction of the map of activations of post-training scan from the pre-training scan across all participants. Activation was localized to regions including bilateral fusiform gyri, precuneus, middle temporal gyri, and middle occipital gyri. Clusters shown reached a cluster corrected threshold (Z > 2.0; p < 0.05), family-wise error corrected for number of comparisons, and are shown overlaid on the MNI template.
