Steps involved in fabricating the composite PCL-rGO 3D printed scaffolds. First, PCL was combined with rGO and vortexed until a homogenous dispersion was achieved. The suspension was then casted into films and the solvent was allowed to evaporate. The collected films were subsequently lyophilized and cut into small pellets to be fed into the 3D printer’s cartridge. Structures of two different thicknesses were 3D printed at a high-temperature and subsequently punched into scaffolds for further assessments. An optical image of the final 3D printed PCL-rGO structure is presented.
