Histological analysis of ovarian follicles in mice at 4 weeks after Samul-tang (SM) administration. (A) Mice were intraperitoneally injected with saline (n = 4, Con group) or cyclophosphamide (CP) on days 1, 3, and 5 in the first week; mice injected with CP were then orally administered distilled water (n = 4, CP group) or 5 g/kg SM (n = 5, CP + SM group) five times a week for 4 weeks. Four weeks after SM administration, ovaries from all three groups were assessed histologically. (B) Cross-sectional equivalent diameter of the ovaries. (C) Representative histological images of ovaries from mice in the three experimental groups.
