ADTKD-UMOD: ADTKD individuals with UMOD variants, n = 6; ADTKD-others: ADTKD individuals without UMOD variants, n = 5; ADTKD-suspected: individuals with suspected ADTKD, n = 11; healthy controls: n = 9. Data were expressed as mean ± standard deviation. In the cohort, ADTKD patients with a UMOD mutation expressed a lower plasma uromodulin concentration (7.05 ± 13.08 ng/ml) compared to patients without a UMOD mutation (70.3 ± 68.6 ng/ml). Both ADTKD-UMOD and the ADTKD-suspected (34.3 ± 28.0 ng/ml) group had a lower plasma concentration compared to healthy controls (153.5 ± 63.7 ng/ml).
