Protein overlap between hippocampal and cortical differentially expressed protein classes. A total of 23/317 (7.3%) differentially expressed proteins (DEPs) in the hippocampus show an overlap with DEPs in the cortex, including 3 of hippocampal class (HC-class) 1, 2 of HC-class 2, and 18 HC-class 4 DEPs. HC-class 3 and HC-class 5 DEPs do not show any overlap with any of the DEPs in the cortex. DEP overlap in each HC-classes with CO-classes are also demonstrated. Expression patterns of each cluster of DEPs are demonstrated in the upper panel. DEP classes with same expression pattern between the hippocampus and the cortex are indicated with a same color.
