Stoichiometry of the main complex species is StrepII-HybG:HypD 1:1, with minor species showing 2:1 and 2:2 ratios (indicated by green circles for HybG and red circles for HypD). (b) Mass spectrum of the dissociation of the 13+-charged ion species of the heterodimer into HybG (charge states + 4 to + 6, red circles) and HypD (charge states + 7 to + 9, green circles) at a collision energy of 80 V. The corresponding measured masses of the StrepII-HybG and HypD proteins are shown in Tables S1 and S2.
