Effect of recombinant vaccination (1 ~ 3 doses) on CD4⁺ and CD8⁺ T cell population was examined. (A) Experimental strategies to measured cellular immune response. C57BL/6 mice (n = 5) were immunized with ZIKV Env_M, Env_Z or PBS at weeks 0, 2 and 6. Mice were euthanized 7 (Day 7; B–D, Day 17; E–G) or 3 (Day 45; H–J) days after the last immunization. Splenocytes were isolated and pooled from five mice per each group. Cells were stained for CD3, CD4, CD8 antibody and were gated CD3⁺, CD4⁺ or CD8⁺.
