From: Nrf2 regulates cell motility through RhoA–ROCK1 signalling in non-small-cell lung cancer cells
Nrf2 is associated with the formation of F-actin stress fibres with focal adhesion. Representative images of cells stained with vinculin (green) with rhodamine phalloidin (red) after brusatol treatment (30 nM and 10 nM for A549 and H460 cells, respectively). White circled cell enlarged. Nuclei were counterstained with DAPI (blue). Images were obtained with a confocal laser scanning microscope (LSM 780, ZEISS) and visualised using the 100× oil immersion objective (EC Plan-Neofluar 100×/1.3 oil). Intensity of fluorescence from the captured image of cells was quantified using ImageJ software (Ver. 1/52n, NIH).
