Collagen concentration and relative humidity affect the final structure of collagen stains. (a) Peripheral region; A radially-oriented v-shaped collagen pattern is observed at collagen concentrations of 5 mg/ml and 10 mg/ml, whereas at 1 mg/ml radial patterns were not observed.
