(b): Probability density function (PDF) of the parous, nulliparous and differential networks. Parous and nulliparous networks show very similar distributions of the correlation weights. The differential network, however, is more compactly distributed despite having a larger range of possible values (from -2 to 2). The three PDFs are shown superimposed at the bottom, highlighting the greater compactness of the differential network (in blue). Values at the extremes of the differential network correspond to the connections (correlations) with highly significant differences between parous and nulliparous networks.
