Projected air temperature and deformation of the loess slope on 15 January of each year from 2020 to 2100, referenced to 2020. Negative values indicate deformation toward the GB-SAR sensor (expansion of the slope). The loess slope expands to 0.35 mm (average, without considering annual and daily breathing cycles) as atmosphere temperature increases 3.5 °C.
