Procedures for the development of the experimental AK model mouse. 1. The mice were anesthetized. 2. The eyeballs of the mice were scratched. 3. A. castellanii trophozoites and cysts were cultivated on the contact lenses and inoculated into the mouse eyes. 4. The eyelids of the mice were sutured.
