The upper figure shows daily averaged values, where the error bars represent the standard errors. The lower figure shows the long-term trends in the oceanic pH by season. Straight lines show linear trends while sine curves show decadal oscillations. Table 1 summarizes the trend slopes, acidification rates, statistical p-values, and correlation coefficients.
