Temperature programs for measuring thermal control performance during the CO2 methanation reaction of the Ni/MEPCM with/without a heat storage function. In the condition (i), internal PCM is solid and has the latent heat storage function when the catalytic reaction starts. In the condition (ii), internal PCM is liquid and does not have the latent heat storage function when reaction starts. Here, Pre-treatment (A) is reduction of NiO of the as prepared Ni/MEPCM under H2 and Ar flow at 500 °C. Pre-treatment (B) is for loosing heat storage function of the Ni/MEPCM by maintain it at 600 °C for 10 min in Ar flow. CO2 methanation reaction was started at 560 °C after Pre-treatment (A) or (B).
