From: Molecular organization of recombinant human-Arabidopsis chromosomes in hybrid cell lines
Genomic distribution of DNA repeats in the 300-day hybrid cell line. Fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) was done on mitotic metaphase plates using probes for Arabidopsis centromere (Atcen, green) and human telomere (red) (a–c), and the Atcen (red) and Arabidopsis telomere (green) (d–f). Chromosomes were counterstained using DAPI (gray pseudocolor in a,d and blue in b,c,e,f). Scale bars, 10 µm (a,b,d,e) and 5 µm (c,f).
