Silencing RMRP leads to an increase in miR-206 and changes cleaved caspase 3 and Bcl-2 expression. Huh7 cells were transfected with control siRNA or RMRP siRNA for 24 h. After transfection, miRNA was extracted, and miR-206 was measured with RT-PCR. miR-206 was increased by RMRP knockdown. Means ± SEM for six replicates are shown. *p < 0.05 compared to the control group by Student’s t-test (A). Levels of cleaved caspase 3 (B) and Bcl-2 (C) were determined with Western blotting.
