The presence of nerves in the tumor microenvironment of PC is associated with poor survival. Kaplan–Meier survival curve comparing cases positive versus negative for nerve infiltration. Patients with nerve infiltration harbor the worst prognosis i.e. had shorter overall survival compared to without nerve infiltration. The results of comparative analyses are presented in Table 2.
