Absorption spectra of (A) BChl c monomers in ethanol (blue line) and aggregates in chlorosomes from Cfl.aurantiacus (red) and Cba. tepidum (yellow) in a buffer, and (B) pure BChl c injected to a buffer by the "fast" method (which forms probably dimers33) (yellow) and aggregates prepared by the "fast" (red) and "slow" (blue) method with BChl c to β-carotene stoichiometric ratio of 1:0.3. All spectra were normalized to the maximum of the Qy band.
