ALKBH4 knockdown downregulated E2F1 and E2F1-target genes in A549 and II-18 cells. A549 cells (A,C–E) or II-18 cells (B,F–H) transfected with ALKBH4 siRNAs or control siRNA for 48 h were subjected to qPCR analysis of E2F1, CCNE1, MYBL2, and CDC25A expression.
