(d) Representative microphotographs of immunostaining to characterise cultured CD31+/podoplanin + cells (scale bar = 50 µm). They were immunocytochemically positive for anti-podoplanin and anti-PROX1 antibodies and negative for CK 5/6 and calretinin (DAB, i.e., brown pigment, was used as a chromogen). Immunofluorescence staining for LYVE1 revealed positive red cytoplasmic staining (nuclei were counterstained with DAPI).
