In vivo tumor inhibitory effects of nanaomycin K. Two bladder cancer cell lines, KK47 and T24, were subcutaneously inoculated into BALB/c nu/nu mice. After tumor growth was confirmed, mice were intratumorally treated with 0.5 mg/body nanaomycin K, 1.0 mg/body nanaomycin K, or vehicle control at day 1 (n = 4). After treatment, the tumor volume was measured for 9 days. The tumor volume of each mouse was standardized by that at day 1 and the tumor growth ratio is shown in the graphs (n = 4, average ± SE bars).
