Nucleotide positions refer to nucleotide positions of isolate AF379637 (Beet curly top virus, BCTV-CA/Logan[US:Log:76]) where the BCTV C4 gene encodes for a protein of 85 amino acids. The region following nucleotide position 415 indicates that some geminiviruses have C4(AC4) genes that encode for proteins that have lengths greater than 85 amino acids.
