The culture supernatant of probiotic bacteria suppressed the pancreatic cancer cell growth. The bacteria-conditioned media was filtrated through a 0.22-μm-pore filter to eliminate the bacterial body and then diluted to 1/5 with cell culture medium. The SRB assay showed that the cell density of pancreatic cancer cells SUIT-2 (A), MIA-PaCa-II (B) and PANC-1 (C) was reduced by treatment with diluted conditioned media of probiotic bacteria, especially A. oryzae.
