  1. Close contact was defined by the existence of the following four criteria: (1) contact with a patient between 2 days before and 14 days after the onset of symptoms, (2) no usage of masks, (3) distance within 1 m, and (4) more than 15 min of contact. Lower risk contact was defined as presence in the same facility as COVID-19 patients, but without fulfilling the above-described criteria of close contact.
