Overview of the experimental approach. Five-week-old C57BL/6 N male mice were orally administered different doses (0.5 g, 1.0 g, and 2.0 g/kg) of Korean red ginseng (KRG). After 4 weeks, serum and liver tissue were extracted for serum chemistry and proteomic analysis (A). Glucose levels and AST and ALT levels in the serum (B).
