VALD-3 induces apoptosis in MCF-7 cells and MDA-MB-231cells. Apoptosis was analyzed via flow cytometry after Annexin V/PI staining. (A) Annexin V-FITC/PI double staining was used to detect the apoptotic rate of MCF-7 cells after VALD-3 treatment for 24 h, 48 h and 72 h. (B) Annexin V-FITC/PI double staining was used to detect the apoptotic rate of MDA-MB-231 cells after VALD-3 treatment for 24 h, 48 h, and 72 h. (C) Statistical analysis of the apoptotic rate of MCF-7 cell population after VALD-3 treatment for 24 h, 48 h and 72 h. (D) Statistical analysis of the apoptotic rate of MDA-MB-231 cell population after VALD-3 treatment for 24 h, 48 h and 72 h. *P < 0.05, **P < 0.01 compared with the control group.
