Color-shaded total field anomaly map of Ife-Ilesha belt showing large variations in the magnitude of aeromagnetic anomaly dataset and color shading highlighting linear structures. The NNE–trending magnetic anomalies extending from the southern part of the map through Odo Igbo to Iloko-Ijesa, similar to Ifewara fault zone shown on the geological map (Fig. 1) of the study area. In addition, for low-latitude areas such as the study region amplitudes of anomalies resulting from magnetic sources changes from high to low values.
