  1. Variables marked with a * were measured using the Noise-Resistance Feature Set (the same descriptions as for the program Osprey from Mellinger and Bradbury (2007)). The Noise-Resistant Feature Set placed a smaller feature box within the manually created selection box in Raven 1.5 and 2.0. Measurements of the call were made based on the contents of the feature box. Start frequency, end frequency and bout were determined manually in Raven. All frequency variables (i.e. with unit Hz) were log-transformed. Units are provided where applicable. Abbreviations are given for each variable that correspond to the other tables and figures.
