Inhibition of SARS-CoV-2 proliferation by Pin1 inhibitors was not abolished upon their removal before SARS-CoV-2 infection. VeroE6/TMPRSS2 cells were pretreated with 10 μM Pin1 inhibitors for 2 h. The Pin1 inhibitors in the medium were either washed out (+) or retained ( −), and then the cells were infected with SARS-CoV-2 at an MOI of 10 followed by incubation for 8 h.
