Each point represents the average pumping frequency of an individual ant calculated as the average of eight consecutive frequency values measured every 0.64 s around 0 (0–5.12 s), 10 (7.68–12.16 s), and 20 s (17.92–22.4 s) from the beginning of intake. Different letters indicate significant differences (p < 0.05).
