  1. The estimated values of surface potential ΨSt and shear plane thickness from the best fit curves shown in Figs. 2 and 5 after adjusting ζ by an amount Ξ multipled by the measured Vm. When the capacitance between shear plane and membrane Cshear was calculated, the ΨSt ratios and Cshear ratios show a high degree of similarity.
