Mean Arteries diameter (MAD) and mean veins diameter (MVD) in COVID-19 patients and subjects unexposed to the SARS-CoV-2 virus at baseline and 6 months later: within groups comparison. Arteries (A) and veins (B) did not change in diameter from baseline to follow-up in subjects unexposed to the virus. By contrast both MAD (A) and MVD (B) significantly decreased from baseline to 6 months follow-up in patients who suffered from COVID-19. Reported p values were obtained by linear mixed model for repeated measurements accounting for nesting of eyes within subjects.
