Image alignment. Three representative outputs of the aligned image processes. Upper: A pair of images at different time points of three patients (P1–P3). Lower: Aligned images. We used the FAST corner detection and BRIEF features. The transformation matrix was estimated from the corresponding points by RANSAC estimation. The images were aligned (parallel translation, scaling, rotation, and skew) by an affine transformation.
