Antioxidant activity assay for the expression level of (A) MDA, (B) SOD, and (C) GSH in the brain tissue homogenates of 4-month-old 5xFAD mice after 45 consecutive days (P30-75) treatment with W. somnifera. The data represent the mean ± SEM. Data were from 4 different mice in each group (n = 4 of two independent sessions) using one-way ANOVA followed by Tukey’s multiple comparisons test. Significance is indicated by *p < 0.05 and **p < 0.01 versus vehicle; by †p < 0.05 between W. somnifera treated groups; by ‡p < 0.05 between W. somnifera and Res treated groups.
