The phylogenetic branch defined by Clostridia and its lower taxa shows a significant association with APOE in male mice. The relative abundance of each depicted bacteria was significantly associated with APOE status. The relative abundance of these bacteria decreased in a stepwise fashion from APOE2 to APOE3 to APOE4.
