The phylogenetic branch defined by Erysipelotrichia and its lower taxa shows a significant association with APOE in male mice. All depicted bacteria were significantly associated with APOE status. The relative abundance of these bacteria increased in a stepwise fashion from APOE2 to APOE3 to APOE4. P values have been corrected using an FDR approach.
