High grade serous ovarian carcinomas with intra-tumoral budding in a 48-year-old patient (A). Intra-tumoral budding was defined as a single tumor cell or a cell cluster of up to four tumor cells at the invasive tumor front. Single tumor cells and clusters of small numbers of tumor cells were noted at the invasive edge (B). p53 stained section showed aberrant overexpression (C).
