Optimization curves for the three models with uniform coefficients and \(N=4\). We observe in all the cases a constant increase of the fidelity, showing that minimizing the approximate free energy cost function tends to result in a maximization of the fidelity. It also shows that the final result found by the algorithm is always significantly better than the random initialization.
