  1. A GLM analysis was performed for the left and right eyes separately. The main effects of the independent variables, age, sex, spherical equivalent (SE), axial length (AL), and visual acuity (VA), and all the possible two-way interactions were taken into consideration. p-values were calculated using the F-test statistic. The “Sign” columns indicate significance codes: 0, '***'; 0.001, '**'; 0.01, '*'; 0.05 '.'; and 0.1, ' ' 1.
