S-specific IgG is associated with elevated serum IL-6 levels, ferritin, and hepcidin-25. Patients with persistingly elevated IL-6 (cut-off: 7 ng/L) (A), ferritin (> 400 µg/L) (B), and hepcidin-25 (> 20 µg/L) (C) demonstrate significantly higher S-specific IgG concentrations compared to individuals without elevated IL-6 at follow-up. 12%, 6%, and 4% of patients demonstrated increased IL-6 levels at the 60-day, 100-day, and 180-day follow-up, respectively. N60days = 145; N100days = 135; N180days = 118.
