Schematic diagram of the BIDG. In the decision phase, a suggested allocation was displayed and participants were asked to choose to either accept or reject the suggestion. If they accepted, the time resource was distributed as suggested, whereas it was evenly distributed if rejected, and the decision result was displayed for 1 s following a fixation period of 0.5 s after the decision.
