Activity of TMPRSS2 in the presence of AAT. (A) HEK293TTMPRSS2 cells were left untreated or pre-treated with AAT at the indicated final concentrations or AEBSF (50 µM) for 30 min, followed by addition of the fluorogenic substrate Boc-QAR-AMC. Fluorescence was measured immediately on the fluorescent plate reader and then every 15 min for a total of 90 min. (B) TMPRSS2 activity at 90 min.
