From: Identification of hub genes for adult patients with sepsis via RNA sequencing

Identification of core genes for sepsis. The survival analysis of the potential core genes was based on dataset GSE65682. The relationships between the expression levels of hub genes and the 28-day survival times of the septic patients were explored. Higher expression of the genes TLR5 (A), FCGR1A (B), GNLY (D), IL2RB (E) and TGFBR3 (F) was associated with higher survival rates of patients with sepsis (P < 0.05). Higher expression of the gene ELANE (C) was associated with a poorer outcome in septic patients (P < 0.05).
