Dimensional bias influenced monkeys' performance in the delayed matching to sample task. (a) Mean normalised response time is shown for colour- and shape-DMS trials. Normalised response time was significantly shorter in trials where shape-matching was required than in trials where colour-matching was required. (b) The mean percentage of correct responses (accuracy) is shown for colour- and shape-DMS trials. Accuracy was significantly higher in shape-DMS trials compared to colour-DMS trials. In all Figures, error bars show the standard error, and p values indicate the significance level of the pairwise comparisons (with Bonferonni correction for multiple comparisons).
