From: Scalable and accurate multi-GPU-based image reconstruction of large-scale ptychography data

Reconstruction accuracy evaluations using (a) small-scale (4K diffraction patterns), (b) medium-scale (8K), and (c) large-scale (16K) synthetic siemens-star datasets. For each evaluation, we calculate both the SSIM and PSNR between the reconstructed image and the reference image after each iteration. We use the running time as the x-axis to distinguish the results of different GPU configurations. We note that in each subfigure the reconstructions with different number of GPUs actually have the same convergence curve. The visual difference is caused by different speeds of running a iteration. (d) shows the comparison between the 4-GPU reconstructed image of the 8K dataset and the reference image.
