ScAT, subcutaneous adipose tissue; BMI, body mass index; QTL, quantitative phenotypes locus; Chr, chromosome number; Start, Top, and Stop, position of the start of the QTL confidence interval, position of the SNP with the highest LOD score, and position of the end of the QTL confidence interval in base pairs, respectively. Positions are given according to the Mouse Genome Version MM10, GRCm38.p6. SNP, single-nucleotide polymorphism. The confidence interval gives the 1.5 LOD drop region of the top SNP position. A LOD score above 5.1 was deemed to be ‘genome-wide highly significant’ and above 4.4 was deemed ‘genome-wide significant’. BH, Bonferroni correction; LOD, logarithm (base 10) of odds; Var %, percentage of total variance in AIL explained. The Mean columns show the phenotypic mean adjusted for significant covariates of homozygous BFMI861-S1, heterozygous, and homozygous B6N animals, respectively.
