Comparison of the log2fold-change values obtained by either miRNA-Seq or RT-qPCR for five randomly selected differentially expressed (DE)-miRNA and five non DE-miRNA miRNA in high (HBCS) versus moderate-conditioned (MBCS) dairy cows on d -49 and 21 relative to calving. The y-axis represents the mean of log2fold-change value comparing HBCS versus MBCS n d -49 and 21. The level of significance was set at P < 0.05. The miRNA-seq results are based on pooled samples (4 pools containing each 4 animals per time point), whereas individual samples were used for the RT-qPCR validation.
